Safety Instructor's Insurance Program

Purpose of the Program

The program was developed to provide suitable commercial insurance at a reasonable cost to instructors of First Aid, CPR, Swimming, and Occupational Health & Safety.

Eligibility for Program

• Authorized Provider (either as a business or individual) associated with a recognized First-Aid, CPR or Occupational Health & Safety instruction program

• Authorized Provider associated with a recognized swimming instruction program (must be in pools)

Subject to approval, the policy may also be extended to cover the following:

• Safety Consulting services such as development of safety manuals, safety plans, workplace safety policies & procedures and safety audits and inspections
• Occasional provision of first aid services at special events
• Other activities related to your operations as a safety instructor

Optional Features

• increased property limits to include office contents, stock and equipment used off-premises
• coverage for laptops and other electronic equipment
• building
• coverage for backyard swimming instruction may be extended to include homeowners of the pool
• policy may be extended to insure other classroom courses taught by policyholder
